The Importance of Our Local Chambers of Commerce to Tech Jobs and Businesses

The Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership is one component of a vital network for workers and businesses in Southwest Florida.  Our relationships with educational institutions, business, community development and business development organizations help our members, sponsors and our community take advantage of many opportunities and supports growth in Southwest Florida.  These relationships being one of the core elements to our mission, we are very please to bring together four of Southwest Florida’s principle Chambers of Commerce, Bonita Springs, Estero, Ft. Myers and Naples, for a very valuable and informative TechTalk event.

  

        

Representatives from four area Chambers of Commerce will be engaging in an active panel discussion on what chambers do and how you can benefit from belonging to one or more Chambers of Commerce.

Panelists will be:

  • Tiffany Esposito, Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO 
  • Sarah Newcomb, Estero Chamber Executive Director
  • Colleen DePasquale, Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce President and CEO
  • Michael Dalby, Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce President and CEO

What is a Chamber of Commerce? 

Busting the myths and Learning the “Fun Facts” about our local chambers.

What are the Benefits of Chamber Membership? 

How to become a member and the benefits of belonging to multiple chambers in Southwest Florida.   Each chamber has unique missions and partnerships.  Understanding these relationships can help you and/or your business.

How can a Chamber of Commerce help workers as well as businesses?

The Chambers of Commerce in SW FL understand the importance of having great talent available to our area employers. Learn about local programs such as: Displaced Spouse Programs, Leadership Classes for Youth, Leadership Classes for businesses and professionals, Internship Programs and more.

 Do Chambers of Commerce really have an impact on the Southwest Florida Community?

Learn about partnerships such as the one the SWFRTP has with the local chambers and how these partnerships benefit our organization as well as businesses and individuals. 

The Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership Foundation is a member of the Lee County Horizon Council, and is the only organization solely dedicated to promoting the growth of the technology sector in Southwest Florida.
